The Lakeside Fire Fighters' Association is Local 4488 of the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF). Local 4488 represents the Fire Captains, Fire Engineers, Firefighter Paramedics, and Firefighters who serve with the Lakeside Fire Protection District in matters concerning their employment. Lakeside Fire Fighters are also proudly affiliated with the California Professional Firefighters, state council for the IAFF.
Lakeside Fire Fighters are very active in the community in which they serve contributing annually to many worthwhile causes.
